We buy into the mantra that travel broadens the mind. Some places just don’t crop up on the average itinerary though, including North Korea, one of the most secretive and closed-off countries in the world. Michal Huniewicz visited North Korea on an organised tour but was able to take photos that give a glimpse of the real daily lives of the people living there. The government controls its outward image very strictly, and photographers are required to give up images that go against state guidelines. Kudos to Michal for getting these pictures out!
